Kerry Cameraworks - Μουσικό Σχολείο Κέρκυρας. Its all about the kids - We as a world-culture can learn a lot from these school kids as they are - One big-fat Greek family - THERE ARE NO - Drugs, Guns, Knives, Bullying, Gangs, Nasty comments. None of that Hard Suff, that seems to be the cultural norm of the UK, Australia and US schools. Even with the influence of American TV teaching us how to Behave "BADLY", Hasn't influence them.
The Tough kids are really sweet and unbelievably talented. Everyone is treated the same, even the Nerdy - Insecure - Goths different Races and Different Looking kids all respect each other. You will see this throughout the video
The newer teachers are not dictators & this school gets positive responses from letting the children think for themselves. here they are heading towards the old days of Socraties Plato and Aristotle.
What a different world compared to the "hard times" I grew up with and now I question my learned Negative Responses to Situations to People and to Circumstances around me, It is not easy to escape the bad side of our cultural upbringing and we can change towards the positive just by realising this.
SPECIAL THANX to Manthos for the music score and the Drum teacher Marios and his students, for the top and tail Drums. Both due to extreme time restrictions had the scores fully developed in 2 days.Thank you Yanna for the photographs and to her friends for backing her up, and Stamati for the go-pro Video, and lastly to all the Teachers for there cooperation.
My very special Thanx to The hardest working person I have ever met, Costa, the new school Principle. ( hang in there, with you driving force, your dream of making this school THE BEST IN GREECE can become reality ) For those watching outside of greece Know there is no money here and wages and support have been drastically cut.
Ps I must say when I was asked to do this job I knew it would be chalenging I had 8 days to do this and sat on my Tuccas for just under 100 hours editing in premier-pro - loving every minute of it.
